Had an amazing time today with my daughter delivering baked goods to our local firehall and handing out small Tim Horton’s gift cards for a coffee and a donut to people passing by.
What a blessing it was for us, to see people so surprised and then being rewarded with a smile from each one as it registered with them that it was “for real”. In fact we each got a hug from a complete stranger as they thanked us.
My other daughter gave the cards to her students at school and challenged them to perform a random act of kindness for someone. They were excited by the challenge and no doubt will do something wonderful with their cards. Thank-you for such a terrific experience! We will definitely be on the lookout for opportunities to perform more random acts of kindness!
